We would be delighted to see the deeds of more of these houses to check on the date they were built and any other details which they might give and would be delighted to hear from the owners of the properties. We know that the land that the house was built on was bought by George Hodges in 1860. George Hodges owned and let the four houses in Victoria Terrace and the adjoining house, now called 23 Pullins Green. After his death in 1905, the houses were managed and let by the Trustees of George Hodges' Estate and in the case of number 17, we know that the Ord family was renting the house up to at least 1958.
